Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Shuts Down

  1. F_E's Avatar

Its been almost a twelvemonth now since I've had this phone. Recently, my phone has been restarting/switching off past itself....once it turns off, it won't turn dorsum on again unless I plug in the charger. If I endeavor belongings on to the power button once it happens, the "S3 mini logo" just keeps showing upward and switches back off again. I even did a manufactory reset and yet it didn't fix the problem. Fifty-fifty when I try going through my telephone (reading messages, going through settings, opening an app), it'll only automatically accept the problem again and switch off again. One time I kept my phone on sleep mode for about 5 hours, and after that I only wanted to make a phone phone call and once again it just turned off.. please whatsoever assistance would be appreciated..

I was suggested to modify my battery within the telephone and purchase a new one - will that fix the problem or make a difference? if not, what suggestions would y'all brand? Anyone has been going through the same trouble with other devices or this 1 in particular?

After I thought because was problem with battery beeing fond ordered new battery from eBay.
the phone worked whilst on charge.then it started to die whilst on charge.
At present the phone doesn't even piece of work whilst on accuse it just dies after 15secs of beeing on and sometimes just gets on a loop trying to turn on.
I tried with new battery and it's aforementioned thing. I tried resetting the telephone but he dies plainly.so I tried on safe style the reset (volume central, power key and home cardinal)and he just resets and when it gets on, all apps are there so that ways he's not resetting nothing at all.
Now I get messages like "phone tracker suddenly stopped" or "unfortunately,com.google.android.gm has stopped"
I tried to remove power safe off.
Did reset on settings all previous app definitions.

Well folks I ve had the same problem for a year now and despite i could ship it for a warranty i tried different solutions (reinstalled apps, tried switching background working off, hitting hard the start button side of the phone to make it "popular out" a bit - idea i may pressed the button to hard and information technology stayed clicked, let is went out on battery and have a 12h rest ect. ) It worked from fourth dimension to time and if i stayed in the city goose egg actually sucked to hard. Merely when i got dorsum from a long trip and my S3 mini lost 100% battery two times in a row merely by restarting itself i went mad. So what'due south my solution?

Grab a transparent tape or whatsoever kind of tool you find useful and add that 0,5mm of annihilation on the bottom of the batery. Arrive "stick" more inside the metal cords in which y'all normally plug your battery. Restarted in a blink of a eye and works like new.

Hope it will piece of work for you, thank you!

    Hi,

I am having the same problem - I charge my telephone all dark and so if I go to write a text or go along whatsoever apps (such every bit Facebook or The Guardian) or for like ten minutes the phone automatically restarts and shows the battery as totally empty with the "!" showing. So it only gets stuck in a restart cycle but never actually gets to the screen - the merely way I can end it is to take the bombardment out.
The strange thing is - when I put my phone on accuse later on this the battery shows as 75% total. Besides if I plough my phone on a few hours afterward the restart cycle - the bombardment shows as half total.

I was just wondering if anyone had found out if this is something wrong with the actual model or a battery result - Information technology'S Then INCREDIBLY Annoying! I've had my phone for simply over a year and take like another 6 months of my contract left....

    Welcome to the forums!

    How old is your phone?

Take you lot tried taking the battery out and putting it on a apartment surface and spinning information technology? If the bombardment is slightly bulged/swollen (a sign that information technology's failing) it'll spin easily.

Did this trouble simply recently start? Information technology could exist 1 or more apps, or a poor betoken causing your battery to dice speedily. You could try booting into Safe manner http://support.verizonwireless.com/s...ase.html/59242 to meet if an app is causing the problem; you could put it in Airplane Mode to see if it's a signal outcome.

My S3 mini had the same problem every bit described above. The phone had been restarting/switching off by itself....once it turns off, information technology won't turn back on again unless I plug in the charger. When I inspected the battery, information technology was a little swollen. I changed the bombardment and the phone is now working perfectly.

Hey guys, my Samsung Galaxy s3 Mini is well-nigh 2 years old, and has the aforementioned problems equally all of yours. When information technology gets to about 70% it'll turn off, and won't plow back on without a charger. Sometimes when information technology turns back on information technology'll have no battery, sometimes the battery will be full.

Some of you mentioned that getting a new battery could help, but I discovered that it didn't aid for me (The spinning battery exam also helped). Later on discovering that it wasn't that I needed a new battery, I checked the connectors on the battery and on the phone (the gold bits). My friend had a problem where a very sparse flick had created in between the connectors causing a problem, but if this is the problem you can solve if by very gently cleaning the gold squares on your battery by scraping lightly with a needle.

Welcome to the forums and thanks for your solution!

if this is the problem you can solve if past very gently cleaning the gilt squares on your bombardment by scraping lightly with a needle.

A more reliable method to make clean the contacts is with a pencil eraser - when you're done rubbing any contamination off just use a soft cloth to wipe away the eraser bits.

I'grand having the same problem since a few weeks.

My Samsung Galaxy S3 mini (GT-I8190 Android 4.1.2), which I have over a year at present, crashes when using a random app or internetbrowser, than reboots itself and says battery is depression (before crash battery was over eighty%). After reboot, information technology keeps rebooting. Only connecting to a poweradapter stops the bootloop.

Tried severall of the to a higher place 'solutions', none of them worked.
    Cleaned the battery connectors
    Battery isn't swollen
    Removed SD-card
    Made the battery 'stick' better
    Cleaned enshroud in bootmenu
Reset the telephone to manufacturing standards

Will try to switch battery with a collegues phone in a few days, but to brand certain it is not the bombardment.

If anyone has an other solution, please share it!

    Thnx i.a.

They had suggested I get to Service Center where the phone could exist fixed in two days. They take not replied!!!
